Pricing Information
I appreciate the opportunity to work with you and bring your artistic vision to life. To ensure a smooth and mutually beneficial collaboration, I would like to provide you with my pricing details.
For non-mural commissions, I require a minimum 50% non-refundable deposit upfront. This is to secure your spot in our schedule and cover initial costs associated with your project. Once the artwork is completed to your satisfaction, the final 50% payment, as well as packaging and shipping charges (which vary based on location, size, and weight of the piece), will be due.
Alternatively, you have the option to pay 100% of the total cost in advance. This will expedite the process and guarantee priority in our production queue. Please note that the project must be paid in full before the artwork is delivered to you.
If you would like a preview of the final piece, I offer the service of creating a sketch for you. However, please be aware that there will be a non-refundable fee associated with this sketch, ranging from $100 to $300. This additional cost is necessary to cover the my time and effort in creating the sketch, separate from the final artwork.
For mural commissions, there are a few additional details to consider. Firstly, there is a non-refundable design fee ranging from $150 to $500. This fee covers my time and expertise in planning and designing your mural. Additionally, transportation fees will apply based on the location of your mural. If applicable, I may also require a lodging fee to cover my accommodation during the project. Similar to non-mural commissions, a minimum 50% non-refundable deposit is required for mural commissions as well. This deposit helps me secure resources, prepare the necessary materials, and reserve my time for your project. The remaining 50% will be due upon completion of the mural. Again, you have the option to pay 100% of the total cost in advance.
I understand that you may have further questions or concerns regarding our pricing structure. I encourage you to reach out to me at your convenience. I am readily available to assist you and provide any clarification you may need.
I am thrilled at the opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind piece exclusively for you. Your support means the world to me, and I am committed to transforming your vision into a remarkable artwork. Don't hesitate to reach out to me via email, and I look forward to the exciting commission process!
Best regards,
Taylor James Monét
Artist Commission Policy: I Reserve The Right to Refuse
Effective from 07/11/2023
As an artist dedicated to my craft, I am committed to providing the highest quality work to my clients. However, I recognize that artistic expression is a personal and subjective endeavor. Thus, to maintain the integrity and authenticity of my work, I reserve the right to refuse any art commission request.
While I strive to accommodate a diverse range of artistic projects, there are certain circumstances under which I may exercise this right:
1. Content Misalignment: If the proposed project conflicts with my personal beliefs, values, or artistic vision, I retain the right to decline the commission. It is essential that I remain authentic to my creative process and maintain artistic integrity.
2. Lack of Professional Compatibility: In some instances, a commission request may not align with my areas of expertise or artistic style. To deliver the highest quality work and ensure client satisfaction, I may choose to reject projects that fall outside of my skill set.
3. Unreasonable Expectations: If a commission request has an unrealistic timeline, budget, or other impractical requirements, I reserve the right to refuse. It is crucial to have reasonable expectations to maintain a healthy artist-client relationship and uphold the quality of my work.
4. Ethical Considerations: If a commission breaches legal or ethical boundaries, such as promoting hate speech, violence, discrimination, or any form of harm, I will not accept the request. I am committed to creating art that celebrates inclusivity, respect, and empathy.
5. Previous Negative Experiences: In rare cases where a client has caused significant issues or conflicts in the past, which negatively affected the artistic process or resulted in nonpayment, I may decline future commission requests from them.
Please note that my decision to decline an art commission request is not a reflection of your value as an individual or the quality of your idea. It is a necessary step to ensure that I deliver the best possible artwork and maintain my commitment to artistic integrity.
6. Overwhelming Workload: At times, I may experience a high volume of requests, leading to the need to prioritize and allocate resources. As I said previously, I only accept a limited amount of commissions.
If you receive a refusal, please understand that I appreciate your interest in my work, but unfortunately, I am unable to accept your request at this time. I encourage you to explore other artists who may better align with your vision, and I wish you every success in finding the perfect artist for your project. Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support of my artistic journey Taylor James Monét
